The Department of Public Safety reported that the local police Bullas has joined the Special Campaign on Seat Belt and Child Restraint Systems (CRS) conducted by the Directorate General of Traffic, between 10 to 16 March.

One of the objectives of the Road Safety Strategic Plan 2011-2020 is to ensure that no child loses his life for my not properly seated in a chair suitable for their weight and height.
If they had properly used restraint systems required, 9 out of 10 serious or fatal child injury would have been avoided, according to sources at the DGT.
The application of the legislation on safety belts by the traffic police is one of the most effective methods to increase and maintain a high rate of belt use among occupants of vehicles.
