Bullas Many activities to celebrate World Environment Day (29/05/2014)

The Department of Environment has presented this afternoon the "Environmental Program" to commemorate World Environment Day, on June 5.

The program has a wide range of activities for children, youth and adults, spread over June.

Councilman Bouquet, Rafael Caceres, highlighted "the many activities that are planned in order to raise awareness among residents of the municipality on the Environment", adding that "human activity is primarily responsible for the greenhouse effect and, therefore, responsible for climate change, with a simple change of habits like recycling, switching off lights when not needed, use the bike, buy local products, etc.. contribute to reduce CO2 emissions and reduce the greenhouse effect " .

The "Environmental Program" begins Tuesday June 3 with the proposal "All recycle", to be held in the square of Supplies (11 hours), it will feature stands recycling, green dots and glass containers, and artist Miguel Canseco Live will create a sculpture from recycled material.

At 18 hours free recycling workshop for adults "Decorate and Recycle" will be held.

Already on Wednesday, 4 June 5th students of Primary schools in Bullas will star in "A bike ride" by the municipality, and on Thursday June 5 an activity is performed with the planting of trees and plants aromatic by students of pre-primary education and CAI, doodles, in the vicinity of these centers.

On Friday June 6th are two quotes: a 12-hour free guided tour of the Center for Agroecology and Environment (CEAMA) located in La Rafa;

and 17 hours a green wall, place a free activity to children aged 3 to 6 years and imparted by the association "Bulle".

On Saturday June 7th "I Environmental Murals Contest" will be held, while on Sunday June 8 host of Supplies Square at 11 am the road "with the oil and recycle glass" and 18 hours workshop recycling "Decorate and Recycle" for children 8 to 11 years.

The students of the "Antonio Machado" La Copa take another bike ride on Wednesday, June 11 and Friday June 13 will be a day loaded: at 9 am will begin a free trip to Cañada Hermosa, with guided tour of the plant recycling;

12 hours a guided tour is offered free to CEAMA;

17 hours and a free workshop conducting magnets with miniature pots recycled, for children 3 to 11 years and in charge of the association "Bulle" is proposed.

On Saturday June 14 at Romero paths free tours for children 5 to 12 years (10 hours and 17 hours) will be held, while at 19 hours the House of Culture of Bullas will host a lecture entitled "Climate change and energy: future scenarios, also for Murcia ", which will be borne by Domingo Jimenez.

On Tuesday 17 June (20 hours) concludes this program with the presentation of the emission inventory and action plan for sustainable energy and integrating it in the Local Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change Bullas.
