The Bullas Wine Museum houses a collection of portraits under the title of "The Faces of Wine".
This is an exhibition of portraits by the painter Emilio Villaescusa.
They are the current faces of characters related Bullas wine culture;
in a kind of homage to the City of Bullas gives those who, through their efforts and dedication of a lifetime, have helped shape the identity of an area devoted to growing grapes and making wine.
The show attracts great interest in the town, the proof was the presence near a hundred people at the inauguration last June 30.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Mayor of Bullas, Pedro Chico, Councilwoman Local Development and Tourism Wonders Espín, President of the PDO Bullas, Francisco Carreño, the Director of the Museum, Salvador Martinez and painter Emilio Villaescusa own.
Exposed portraits are painted in pastel, pure pigment sticks with lots of very beautiful colors.
"With the cake I feel free to project strokes and blend ... rich and varied hues," says Emilio Villaescusa, for whom the "Faces of Wine" have been an arduous task accomplished in just over three weeks.
The exhibition is organized by the Department of Local Development and Tourism of Bullas, in collaboration with the Bullas Wine Route, and runs through June 29, open from Tuesday to Saturday (morning: 10:00 / 14 00 and afternoons: 17.00 / 20:00);
Sundays and holidays (10:30 / 14:00).
It has also published a catalog with the portrait of each of the characters.
