Last weekend the first official game was played at the new facilities of the football field Nicolás de las Peñas.
Earlier this month finalized the works for the installation of artificial turf that have lasted for a period of just over two months taking advantage of the break in sporting competitions.
The investment amounts to 318,000 euros, and as such has commented Councillor for Public Works, Francisco Martínez, "come to improve the quality of the sports facilities."
"There is thus a full response to a demand for many years claimed by athletes and that made Bullas was one of the few municipalities in the region did not have a facility like this," added about the Councillor.
With the construction of this infrastructure as well as improving the system, a significant cost savings achieved in the maintenance and preservation.
And a water savings of over 95% is achieved.
Alongside turf replacement were performed other works of adequacy of the football field as repairs, new plumbing and tiling in the locker room, improved access to the football field, the conditioning of the lateral tier, environment etc.
In short, "a series of works that allow soccer practice in the town safer, better means and according to current needs," said Martinez.
The new facility will enable this new phase that can be rented for soccer practice to groups and residents of the municipality.
