The first prize of Art for Equality and Gender Violence No 2014 is going to Madrid (25/11/2014)

The Department of Equality and Women's Hall of Bullas has announced this morning the names of the three winners of the third annual Art Contest for Equality and Gender Violence Not this year.

The first prize of 300 euros, goes to Madrid to Paul Camps with sculpture entitled "Aisha Ibrahim".

The second prize of 150 euros it takes Ana Pilar Fernández de Bullas has also made a sculpture called "Pain and Power".

Finally, the third prize goes to Luisa Moreno de Bullas 50 euros for his watercolor drawing "Jail Heart".

All works have been submitted to this contest will be exhibited in the exhibition hall of the House of Culture until 14 December and can be seen in 11-13 hours and from 17 to 20 hours from Monday to Sunday.

Celebration of World Day Against Gender Violence

On the other hand, today, at the weekly market as usual have been distributed ties and provided information for all the activities planned by the Department to commemorate the November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

In addition, two collages have been exposed by the students of IES College Los Cantos and Love of God as the theme this year "Education is the Vaccine Against Violence", a phrase of Edward James Olmos, aims to raise awareness among youngest of the magnitude of this problem and engage them in the rejection of all those behaviors that accommodate gender violence.
