The Mayor and the Councillor for Agriculture meet with security agents (07/09/2015)

The Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, and the Councillor for Agriculture, Juan Valera, have held a meeting recently with the rock group of the Civil Guard, the sergeants of the Local Police and Civil Guard, representatives of unions and agricultural organizations Bullas, as Frusemur, Cobuco, COAG and UPA, to address the issue of security in rural areas of the municipality.

"It is worrisome, especially almond thefts and robberies, coinciding with the collection of fruit that has a high price in the market today," said Council of Agriculture about it.

For its part, the team reported Roca guidelines to follow in case of falling victim to this type of action, highlighting the importance of collaboration that has played the local police in monitoring several cases as happened a few days ago where more than three tons of almonds were seized.

"It is very important, agents, reporting all cases and notify any suspicion as unfounded it is, because in this way may have a record of criminal acts occurred," said the councilman.

Another issue that was put on the table are suspected anti hail rocket planes, of which we know there are complaints in the courts by the Agricultural Organizations and the Government Delegation investigation.

"At the moment, there is no evidence showing irregular flights in the airspace," said Valera.

Finally, the mayor wanted to thank the Civil Guard "the magnificent work they are doing in monitoring our fields, because the Rock teams have detained or charged more than 400 people suspected of crimes related to agricultural and livestock sectors in the region ".
