Bullas City Council has called the "Bullas Awards 2008" in order to recognize and encourage the actions of individuals, groups, institutions and entities that have done work with special emphasis on the social, economic and cultural Bullas.
These are divided into various forms, among which are: Lifetime Achievement Business, Culture and recovery of our customs and traditions, sportsmanship, solidarity, and one Special.
In turn, the Business Career Achievement Award is divided into 4 more directed to construction, services and shops, food and industrial promotion and protection of the environment.
A total of 8 awards given to recognize the work of that person, group or institution for his career or social significance contribute to the promotion of the values which these awards are to encourage and promote.
Until the 15th of November, both individuals and associations, institutions or organizations may submit their applications, can present a single candidate for each of the defined categories.
These applications should contain a formal proposal and a reasoned and detailed regarding the merits incurred by candidates.

By creating these awards, in addition to achieving the goals of recognition and consideration, is intended to serve, too, a tribute and encouragement, while tool consensus of all citizens of the municipality.
